A lovely English classic Post Office clock dated on the reverse1955.

The solid case is made from mahogany and has been renovated to allow signs of wear to exist rather than disguising them. The thick glass is bevelled at the edge and mounted into a heavy cast brass bezel.

The dial shows some foxing, but the hand-painted insignia are not damaged.

The size shown is the maximum across opposite corners.

The clock had some mounting bolts and these have been preserved, but do not function.
